Lumos Team Visits Slovenian Panel Factory Bisol

The Lumos team recently visited the Slovenian factory of Bisol, one of the most prominent solar panel manufacturers in Europe. This strategic visit aimed to gain a deeper understanding of the advanced technologies and manufacturing processes behind the high-quality solar panels produced by Bisol.
Both Lumos and Bisol share fundamental values of commitment to thoroughness, excellence, and the security of solutions, and are dedicated to delivering the highest standards of quality and sustainability at every step of the process.
BISOL Group has been active in the solar sector since 2004, when it began producing photovoltaic (PV) modules. Expanding its product range, the company integrated mounting solutions into its offerings in 2009. With a production capacity of 750 MW, BISOL Group states that they are now the largest actual European producer of solar modules.
In 2021, BISOL launched BISOL Supreme™, the world’s first module to offer a 25-year warranty for 100% output power. In 2025, they transitioned to G12R cells for all solar modules.
Bisol is known for its innovation and commitment to sustainability, with their products globally recognized for top performance and longevity. During the visit, the Lumos team had the opportunity to learn about the latest industry advancements, including advanced panel manufacturing and testing methods, as well as sustainable practices employed by Bisol throughout their production phases.
Bisol’s full range of solar solutions and services is present in over 100 countries worldwide. In addition to its Slovenian headquarters, the company runs its international operations through branches in Belgium, France, Italy, Dubai, and the United Kingdom.
Thanks to its dedication to top-quality solar solutions, BISOL Group has won the prestigious Top Brand award for its solar modules in four European markets: Belgium (fourth consecutive year), France (fourth consecutive year), Italy (third time), and Slovenia (third consecutive year).
With more than 70 solar power plants under its ownership, BISOL Group produces ten times more electricity than it uses to manufacture its solar modules, participates in various PV module recycling programs, and develops its own systems.
“Bisol is a true example of innovation in the solar energy industry, and collaborating with such partners is key to our mission of contributing to sustainable development and energy independence,” stated Teo Rakočević after the visit and discussions with Bisol representative Mr. Boštjan Dečman.
This visit is just one of the steps in Lumos’ strategy to strengthen its capacity and offerings in the market, aiming to enhance the efficiency and competitiveness of the proposed economic-technical solutions.
